Bitcoin support in Snow-Fall is PSBT-based.

Current target:

  • Signet pre-production testing.

    • Current maturity status:

  • Bitcoin is not the mature ecosystem yet.
  • Cosmos remains the mature production-ready ecosystem in Snow-Fall.

    • Snow-Fall is the primary Bitcoin multisig coordinator and acts as a watch-only system:

  • No private keys are held.
  • Users sign externally.
  • Wallet policies can be created directly in Snow-Fall from signer public wallet data.

    • Main flow

    1. Create a Bitcoin multisig wallet in Snow-Fall (or use advanced descriptor import).

    2. Generate receive address.

    3. Refresh UTXOs.

    4. Build PSBT.

    5. Export PSBT.

    6. Sign externally.

    7. Import signed PSBT.

    8. Finalize.

    9. Broadcast.
