Sign PSBT

Snow-Fall exports PSBTs for external signing.

Snow-Fall can also request signing directly in Xverse with `Approve with Xverse`.

Examples of external signing tools:

  • Sparrow
  • Coldcard
  • Keystone
  • Ledger with Sparrow flow
  • Snow-Fall does not sign transactions.

Snow-Fall does not ask for seed phrases or private keys.

    Browser-wallet scope in this branch:

  • Xverse signing is supported.
  • Xverse does not currently create Snow-Fall multisig policy data; policy creation still requires signer metadata in Snow-Fall.
  • Leather and UniSat are planned later.
  • Offline signing (Sparrow/hardware flow) remains supported.
  • Before approving in your signer tool, verify destination, amount, fee, and change output.

For P2WSH sortedmulti on signet, Sparrow should recognize the exported current PSBT as belonging to your multisig wallet.

If Sparrow can open the wallet but cannot sign the PSBT:

  • First compare receive address index 0 between Snow-Fall and Sparrow wallet policy details.
  • Then verify the PSBT includes multisig signing metadata for each input:
  • witnessUtxo
  • witnessScript
  • bip32 derivation entries for each cosigner public key and derivation path
