Bitcoin Troubleshooting

Bitcoin feature disabled

Enable Bitcoin feature flag and reload.

Descriptor rejected

Re-check descriptor format and signer metadata.

In guided setup, re-check signer fingerprints, derivation paths, and xpub/tpub values.

Receive or change mismatch

Confirm receive and change descriptors belong to the same wallet policy.

Wrong network address

Do not mix signet/testnet and mainnet addresses.

No UTXOs found

Check funding transaction status and refresh UTXO sync.

Esplora provider failed

Retry later or use another compatible provider endpoint.

Insufficient funds

Adjust amount or fee rate, or fund more UTXOs.

PSBT signing failed

Re-export PSBT and verify external signer compatibility.

Verify receive address index 0 matches between Snow-Fall and signer wallets.

If using Xverse, confirm the extension is unlocked and approved the signing prompt.

Xverse network warning

Xverse network reporting may identify signet as testnet.

Verify destination address, amount, and fee before signing.

Sparrow says no wallet can sign

Verify Sparrow is on signet when using signet flows.

Verify Sparrow wallet policy/descriptors match Snow-Fall policy data.

Verify first receive address matches between Sparrow and Snow-Fall.

Ensure the PSBT was created after the signing metadata fix rollout.

Recreate the PSBT from selected UTXOs if it was created before the fix.

Signed PSBT rejected

Check signer set, policy context, and that PSBT matches the original draft.

If the error says wallet metadata is missing, recreate the payment so the PSBT includes full signing metadata.

Unknown signer

Ensure signer belongs to policy cosigner set.

Duplicate signer

A signer can only contribute once to the same PSBT state.

Cannot finalize

Threshold signatures are still missing.

Broadcast failed

Verify network settings, final transaction validity, and provider health.
