Wallet Policy

Bitcoin Multisig Wallet Setup

Snow-Fall can create your Bitcoin multisig wallet policy directly in the app.

You provide public signer wallet data only:

  • Signer label
  • Master fingerprint
  • Account public key (xpub/tpub)
  • Derivation path

    • Snow-Fall generates:

  • Receive descriptor (`/0/*`)
  • Change descriptor (`/1/*`)
  • Initial address window

    • Important:

  • Never enter a seed phrase.
  • Never enter a private key.
  • External wallets are used only for signing.

    • Xverse note:

  • Xverse can connect and later approve compatible Bitcoin signing files.
  • Xverse does not currently export the full public wallet data required to create a new multisig policy in Snow-Fall.
  • To create a multisig policy, paste signer public wallet data manually or import descriptors/policy data.

    • Backup recommendation:

  • Download and store the Snow-Fall wallet policy backup JSON.
  • Keep descriptors and signer instructions in a secure operator runbook.
